BOOM! Studios will launch Hellmouth, a five-issue Buffy and Angel event series, October 9. The miniseries will be written by Jordie Bellaire (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Redlands) and Jeremy Lambert (Doom Patrol with Gerard way), with art by Eleonora Carlini (Batgirl of Burnside, Harley Quinn).  Covers will be by Jenny Frisson, with variants by Kyle Lambert and Kelly & Nichole Matthews (which will connect to Angel #5 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer #8).

The series will tell the story of the opening of the gates to the Hellmouth and Buffy’s efforts to deal with the threat to everyone in Sunnydale, and Angel’s search for redemption by trying to close the Hellmouth.

This will be the first crossover event series for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel from BOOM! Studios.
