WizKids has posted images from its Marvel HeroClix: Ultimates, a series of 96 heroes and villains from both Marvel's Ultimate comic book line and the traditional Marvel universe. WizKids plans to release the Marvel HeroClix: Ultimates in June in four-pack boosters, which will have an MSRP of $7.99. The Marvel HeroClix: Ultimates will be the second WizKids release for the Marvel HeroClix game in 2004 -- the Marvel HeroClix: Universe, which includes both starter decks and booster is set for a May release (see 'WizKids Concentrates on Core Brands').
The Marvel HeroClix: Ultimates will introduce four new team abilities to the HeroClix CMG and the Ultimates heroes and villains will also have new special powers and abilities that were introduced in previous HeroClix expansions.
