Genius Games will release Nerd Words: Science, a word-guessing party game, in December.

In Nerd Words: Science, players form into two teams and then compete to determine correct science terms from one-word clues in a minute or less. Players wager points based on their conviction in their team's answer to a given clue. Quick, correct responses with high wagers yield higher point totals, but incorrect answers result in a loss of the amount of points wagered. The team with the highest point total wins the game, and will reign as paragons of scientific knowledge.  

The game box contains 162 Nerd Words cards, 3 Team whiteboards, a Clue Giver whiteboard, a Betting token, 3 Point tokens, a scoreboard, a sand timer, and 4 dry erase markers. Nerd Words: Science is for 2 to 12 players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 20 to 40 minutes. It will retail for $29.99.
