Sota Toys and GrimmGrottoGoods have announced three series of mechanized hand puppets, which will retail for $12.99 and ship to retailers starting in August.  Packaged in smart looking 'Try Me' boxes, these ghoulish puppets feature a mechanism that when activated by the puppet master's fingers makes the figure's arms flail about (remember the 'Boxing Nun'?).

The first series of mechanized hand puppets, which includes four kinds of Zombies, a Witch and a Pumpkin, ships to retailers in August followed by a series based on the Alien vs. Predator film that should ship just after the film opens and a third series featuring the Universal Monsters, which should ship well before Halloween.  The 'master case' for the first series of puppets includes 12 figures in all -- two complete sets (8 Zombies, 2 Witches, 2 Pumpkins).
