John Petrie, who had a stint as Sales Manager at Valiant Entertainment a few years back, has rejoined the company, this time as Senior Sales Manager.  In this role, Petrie will be focused primarily on the book, library, and educational markets, while also including comic retailers, a company spokesperson told ICv2.  In his previous role at Valiant, Petrie was primarily focused solely on comic retailers.  He also spent time at Forbidden Planet and Barnes & Noble.

"There’s literally no corner of retail he doesn’t bring expertise from and an impeccable reputation," Valiant Vice President of Sales and Marketing Matthew Klein said of the hire.  "Not only does Valiant have the largest sales team in comics, we just added a lot of fire power."
