In Sonora, players flick numbered, wooden discs onto a game board that represents the landscape of the Sonoran sands. Each area of the board features a different section of Sonora, and has different methods of scoring points as wooden discs land on the section. For example, the cliff dweller ruins section adds points for a player that are first to complete the various ruins, but the canyon section scores points for drawing shapes matching the values of the discs. This unique game also features a solo mode.
The game box includes 20 colored discs, scoresheets, pens, a game board, and a starting player token. Sonora is for one to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 30 to 45 minutes. This game will retail for $29.99.
