DC Comics has announced that Strange Adventures, the new series by the Eisner Award-winning Mister Miracle team Tom King and Mitch Gerads, will carry its Black Label designation, for material appropriate to readers 17 and up.

"Since its tone and themes are more in the vein of  Mister Miracle than, say, Tom King's work on  Batman, we decided that it made more sense to give  Strange Adventures its own space, where Tom, Mitch, Doc and Clayton could follow the story to all the different places it might take them," DC Group Editor Jamie S. Rich said of the decision.

The new series, with story by King, art by Michg Gerads and Evan "Doc" Shaner," is planned as a 12-issue series debuting March 4 (see "Tom King and Mitch Gerads Reunite for ‘Strange Adventures’").
