My City is a legacy game designed with family game players in mind. At first, the game uses simple mechanics, with rules that become more complex as players make their way through the 24-episode legacy storyline. Each player builds their own city during the campaign, with their boards changing based on the results of each game.
The double-sided boards are designed so that they can be flipped over to play a fixed version of the game that does not use the legacy elements.
My City has an MSRP of $35.00.
In Aqualin, two players compete head-to-head to create schools of sea creatures, with the twist that one player is trying to form groups of the same animal while their opponent seeks groups of the same color. In turn, players may move a tile and play a tile on the board trying to form the largest groups possible.MRSP is $20.00.
In addition to these games, Thames & Kosmos was displaying a number of new titles at New York Toy Fair (see “Thames & Kosmos Will Release ‘The Liberation of Rietburg’ into Trade,” “Three More ‘Exit’ Games Planned,” and “Blast Off Into Space with ‘The Crew: The Quest for Planet Nine’”).
