The Pokemon Company has canceled the 2020 Pokemon Championship Series and all other organized play, the company announced today.  Those cancellations include:

• 2020 North America International Championships, scheduled for June 26-28 in Columbus, Ohio
• 2020 Pokemon World Championships, scheduled for August 14-16 in London
• All sanctioned events including League, Club, Prerelease, League Challenge, League Cup, Premier Challenge, and Midseason Showdown.

Earning of Championship Points is suspended; and points earned to date will carry over to the 2021 season. Invitations to the 2020 World Championships will be honored for the 2021 event.
