Riot Media has announced that it will develop, produce and market multi-platform entertainment programming and media products aimed at tween boys, with the first releases to come in the spring of 2005.

 

Planned products include comics, magazines, books, live action and animated television programs, collectible games and trading cards, toys, electronic games, action figures and an interactive Website.

 

Riot has some impressive names associated with it, including Jay Gissen, a former managing editor of Us and director of editorial operations at TV Guide; and Mike Hammer, EIC of Stuff

Riot creative content centers on the battle between good and evil, pitting underdog heroes against powerful villains.
