IDW Publishing imprint Top Shelf Productions has announced Parenthesis, a graphic memoir by cartoonist Elodie Durand of her experience with tumor-related epilepsy.  It received the Revelation Prize of the Angouleme International Comics Festival.

The conceit is that as a tumor begins pressing on her brain, "the sentence of her normal life has been interrupted by the opening of a parenthesis that may never close."

The 224-page 6" x 9" b/w paperback with French flaps will retail for $19.99 on release in January 2021.
