Image Comics is having some strong sales in the COVID era, with two recent comics getting six figure print runs.  Image has just ordered a reprint of Fire Power #1, the first issue of the new series by Robert Kirkman and Chris Samnee, along with Matt Wilson and Rus Wooton; after a sell-out at the distributor level of the 200,000 copies already shipped.

Meanwhile, Spawn #310, which releases later this month, has orders for over 100,000 copies, series creator Todd McFarlane told ComicBook.com, not including a 20% over-ship that’s going to retailers.  Promotion for the issue includes variant covers, one featuring a new design for Ninja Spawn.

Image graphic novels have also been doing well in comic stores during COVID, with seven of the top 20 titles in ICv2’s ComicHub charts of comic store sell-through (see "Top 20 Graphic Novels – August 2020").
