Games Workshop revealed Warhammer 40,000 Codex: Space Marines and Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines Datacards, a new rulebook for Warhammer 40,000 9E, for release on October 10.

This new edition of the Codex: Space Marines is the most comprehensive volume produced for Space Marines collectors. It comes with 98 datasheets that cover every Space Marine unit from the First Founding Chapter to the Deathwatch, and also includes Stratagems, Warlord Traits, Litanies of Battle, Psychic Disciplines, Chapter Relics, bespoke Crusade rules, and more. Additionally, this book features a Space Marines bestiary and a showcase of painted Citadel miniatures. It will retail for $50.00.

For quick reference, Games Workshop will also release a set of Space Marines Datacards. The datacard pack comes with 7 core Stratagems, 34  Space Marine Stratagems, a Smite psychic power, 12 psychic power cards, and 7 Litanies of Battle. This pack will retail for $25.00.

Games Workshop released The Battlezone: Manufactorum - Vertigus, a new battlefield terrain set for Warhammer 40,000, on October 3 (see "Games Workshop Unveils 'Battlezone: Manufactorum - Vertigus'").
