Z2 Comics will release a biography of Elvis Presley in graphic novel form with Authentic Brands Group, the owner of the Elvis Presley Estate, the companies announced.  The new volume, Elvis: The Graphic Novel, will feature story by Chris Miskiewicz, who wrote the Grateful Dead biography for Z2, and art by Michael Shelfer.

Z2 did not indicate what the license from the estate adds to the standard edition of the graphic novel released to trade, although it’s clearly a big plus for the limited edition, which includes a picture disc version of Elvis’ debut album.

There have been a number of graphic novel biographies of Elvis published over the last decade, including Elvis, a BD published in translation by NBM in 2016 (see "Graphic Biography of Elvis Presley"), and The Mighty Elvis: A Graphic Biography from IDW Publishing last year.
