More details about the upcoming release of the Star Wars Trilogy on DVD (see 'Star Wars Trilogy Out on DVD in September') have been revealed, according to Video Business.   The retail price for the four-disc set will be $69.98; release date is September 21st. 

 

A 10-minute preview of Episode III (planned for release in May, 2005) will include a discussion with George Lucas about Darth Vader, who returns in the film, along with a look at his new costume. 

 

Videogame content will figure prominently.  The first level of Star Wars:  Battlefront, which is being released on the same day as the DVD set, will be included in a format playable on a standard DVD set top player.  A making-of featurette on the Episode III videogame will also be included.
