Opus XIV: Crystal Abyss expansion set comes with 130 normal cards and 152 premium cards as well as include three Legend cards from past sets as Premium Full Art cards. This set debuts cards based on War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and will feature new characters to do battle with. New Multi-Element Forwards, first introduced in Opus XII and expanded in Opus XIII, will also appear in this set.

This expansion also showcases the work of a number of artists. The artists that contributed to this set were by Gen Kobayashi, Rubi Asami, Ryoma Ito, Akira Oguro, Toshitaka Matsuda, Yasuhisa Izumisawa, Kumiko Koike, and Lisa Fujise. Packs come with 12 cards and include a Premium card, and booster boxes will come with 36 packs.  

Square Enix will also release Final Fantasy Opus XII- Crystal Radiance, a new expansion for Final Fantasy TCG, on March 26 (see "Square Enix Will Release 'Final Fantasy Opus XIII - Crystal Radiance'").
