Dark Horse Comics has promoted four in its editorial department, including one from Berger Books, and hired two new assistant editors, the company announced. Ian Tucker has been promoted to Senior Books Editor. Since joining the Dark Horse editorial department in 2012, Tucker has been almost exclusively editing titles in Dark Horse’s growing line of art books, including The World of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Art of Rick and Morty, among others.
Jenny Blank has been promoted to Associate Editor; she was hired as an Assistant Editor in 2018. Blank has worked on a number of Dark Horse’s top lines, including Critical Role, Avatar and Korra, and titles from the Hellboy universe. Blank has also begun to develop her own titles, including Sacred Decay: The Art of Lauren Marx.
Judy Khuu has been promoted to Associate Editor. She’s been in the Dark Horse editorial department since 2018 and has taken over editing responsibilities for The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, and begin to build her own line of titles.
Rae Boyadjis has been promoted to Associate Editor at Berger Books. Boyadjis has been assisting Karen Berger since 2018, and has been integrally involved in titles including Invisible Kingdom, She Could Fly, Ruby Falls, and Post York.
Dark Horse has added Sanjay Dharawat as Assistant Editor. He comes to Dark horse with an MA in Book Publishing from Portland State University. In his new role, he’ll be assisting Ian Tucker on the art book line.
Rose Weitz has been added as Assistant Editor. She’s a recent graduate of Portland State University with a BA in English and a Comics Studies Certificate.
