Diamond Book Distributors has signed FairSquare Comics to an exclusive distribution agreement for the book channel in North America, the companies announced. FairSquare Comics was founded in 2019 by Spider-Man Noir creator and former Humanoids Senior Editor Fabrice Sapolsky (see "Fabrice Sapolsky Joins Humanoids"), with a goal to promote immigrants, minorities and under-represented creators in the world of comics.
FairSquare has three imprints: Green represents the core line and books, graphic novels, and comics fully owned by the company; Purple represents books from other creators, which are fully creator-owned; and Blue represents magazines, merchandise and other endeavors.
Top titles include Sapolsky’s One-Hit Wonder (originally published by Image Comics); graphic novel anthology Noir Is the New Black, a collection of noir stories written and drawn by black creators; King Fu Noir; graphic novel Intertwined, and Lady-Bird.
