Capstone Games revealed Savannah Park, a new family board game by Wolfgang Kramer and Michael Kiesling, for release in Q3.

In Savannah Park, players take on the roles of rangers attempting to optimize a nature preserve on the savannah.  They will help animals form herds, find access to oases, and thwart bushfires.  To accomplish their goal, players will place animal tiles onto the board in areas the help along their objectives and allow them to maintain the grassland.   This family game can be played in a solo mode or in one of multiple variations for kids or strategic players that feature different tile placements.

This game is for one to four players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 30 minutes.  It will retail for $39.95.

Capstone Games also unveiled Imperial Steam, a new railroad building game, for release in Q4 (see "Capstone Games Unveils 'Imperial Steam'").
