Image Comics will publish Linda Sejic's Punderworld as an original graphic novel under its Top Cow imprint in August. The comic was originally published on Webtoon, where it had 348,200 subscribers and 13.5 million views. The 176-page paperback, rated for readers 16 and up, will be released to the direct market on August 25 and to bookstores on August 31 and will have an MSRP of $16.99.

Punderworld is a retelling of the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone with a fantasy setting and a modern sensibility: Hades, the cold, aloof ruler of the Underworld, and Persephone, an earth goddess, have been carrying on an awkward flirtation for 200 years, but neither does anything about it until one fateful night when everything gets turned upside down, with some help from the other gods.
