DC Horror imprint revealed its second title, Soul Plumbers, which will release on October 5.

The six-issue comic miniseries was penned by the hosts of The Last Podcast on the Left: Marcus Parks, Henry Zebrowski, and Ben Kissel. Their podcast features all things horror as they explore the hidden history and stories of hauntings, cults, killers, and strange encounters. They also tour the United States doing special live shows.

Soul Plumbers dives into the sewers of the human soul, only to find them filled with demons. The story revolves around a disgraced seminary student named Edgar Wiggins, who is still seeking a higher calling in life. His search leads him to the Soul Plumbers, who steal souls for Satan, but he can't buy into their group as a true devotee because he doesn't have the money. Wiggins then swipes the blueprints for his soul-stealing machine and goes rogue.

The art for this book is rendered by John McCrea (Hitman, Judge Dredd), who's art-style gives this book a horrifyingly whimsical feel to it. This book will feature three covers: a main cover by McCrea, an Open Order variant by Tom Neely, and a 1:25 variant by Riley Rossmo. It will be a 32-page FC book with card stock covers that has an MSRP of $4.99.

DC Horror also recently released The Conjuring: The Lover (see "DC Launches New Horror Imprint").
