The Pokemon Company International announced two new V Battle Decks, for Pokemon TCG, which will release into retail on October 8.

The new V Battle Decks will feature Dragon-type Pokemon Rayquaza V and Noivern V (one deck dedicated to each). Dragon-type Pokemon will be introduced in the Sword & Shield series with the Sword & Shield—Evolving Skies expansion (see "'Pokemon TCG' Takes To The 'Evolving Skies'"). These pre-constructed 60-card decks are entry level products for new players and experienced players alike.

Each V Battle Deck comes with a 60-card deck, three reference cards, a rules booklet, a playmat, damage counters, a large metallic coin, a deck box, and Quick Guide to winning strategies. The Rayquaza V Battle Deck and Noivern V Battle Deck are also available together in a product bundle, which comes with both decks and eight additional Trainer cards.
