IDT Entertainment and Todd McFarlane Productions have announced an agreement to develop, produce and distribute broadcast television projects, DVDs, feature films, video games, action figures and apparel based on Spawn and other TMP intellectual properties.

 

The first project will be the return of Todd McFarlane's Spawn: The Animated Series, which will be followed by two other McFarlane animated properties, according to the agreement.

 

McFarlane will be the executive producer, overseeing all aspects of development and production.

 

IDT continues to broaden its reach in the pop culture market, having recently acquired minority ownership in Stan Lee's Pow Entertainment (see 'IDT Buys Into Pow Entertainment'), as well as in Archie Comics (see 'IDT Entertainment Acquires 5% of Archie Comics').
