The Pokemon Company International will release the Pokemon TCG: Sword & Shield - Fusion Strike expansion on November 12.
The Fusion Strike expansion introduces a new Battle Styles gameplay mechanic called Fusion Strike Style. The new mechanic focuses on attacks that benefit from having multiple Pokemon with this Battle Style in play. Fusion Strike Style appears on Trainer and Special Energy cards to assist Pokemon with this particular Battle Style. In addition to the new mechanic, Fusion Strike includes Pokemon such as Mew VMAX, Genesect V, and Hoopa V.
The Pokemon TCG: Sword & Shield - Fusion Strike expansion includes 20 Pokemon V cards, 13 full-art Pokemon V cards, 8 Pokemon VMAx cards, 20 Trainer cards, 7 full-art Supporter cards, and a new Special Energy card. Pokemon TCG: Sword & Shield - Fusion Strike will be available in booster packs, special editions, and two Elite Trainer Boxes featuring featuring Mew.
On October 30, Pokemon will release the Sword & Shield - Fusion Strike Build and Battle Box. Each Build and Battle Box includes 4 Pokemon TCG: Sword & Shield - Fusion Strike booster packs; a 23-card Evolution pack featuring key cards from current and prior sets, including one of four alternate-art promo cards; and a deckbuilding tip sheet.
The Pokemon TCG: Sword & Shield - Fusion Strike Build and Battle Stadium boxes launch on November 26. The Build and Battle Stadium box is designed for a two-player gameplay experience.
