Alliance Atlantis Communications, Inc. announced it has signed a worldwide agreement for trading card games with Score Entertainment, a North American DVD/VHS home video rights deal with FUNimation Productions, Ltd. and a worldwide master toy license agreement with Jakks Pacific, Inc. for Dragon Booster, a new animated property in which humans co-exist with dragons racing at over 200 miles per hour.

 

Nerd Corps Entertainment, a 3D animation company in Vancouver, B.C., is producing the Dragon Booster animated television series which is currently scheduled to begin airing on the ABC Family's Jetix block this October in America, and on CBC in Canada, before worldwide release in 2005.

 

Jakks Pacific has plans to manufacture Dragon Booster action figures, along with accessories and playsets, craft and activity toys, and Tongue Tape candy based on what is expected to be a hot boys' action property.
