WizKids announced the first wave of the Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition Monster Mini Series by Kidrobot, releasing in August 2022.

The 3-inch vinyl miniatures depict classic monsters from the original first edition of Dungeons & Dragons, as depicted in the artwork from the game books.  The first wave of models features a total of 13 different monsters, including the Beholder, Displacer Beast, Fire Elemental, Ghoul, Mimic, Mind Flayer, Red Dragon, Remorhaz, Roper, Rust Monster, Sahuagin, Salamander, and Xorn.

The models will be sold in individual blind boxes for collectability, with some monsters appearing more rarely than others.  The boxes will be packaged in 24-count countertop displays.  MSRP has not been announced.
