This round of Starter Sets feature characters from this summer's Dungeons & Dragons Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set for Magic: The Gathering (see "'Dungeons & Dragons' 'Magic: The Gathering' Set"). These miniatures come pre-painted to highlight their detailed sculpt. The Companions of the Hall Starter comes with Drizzt Do'urden, Catti-brie, Wulfgar, Bruenor, and Guenhwyvar. The Adventuring Party Starter showcases Tumblestrum, Nadaar, Varis, Hama Pashar, and Yuan-Ti Rogue.
