Dav Pilkey’s newest book, Cat Kid Comic Club: Perspectives, which was released on November 30, was the number one seller, followed by four more Pilkey titles. Literally every graphic novel Pilkey has made has been on the list every month, and as of December that comes to 12 titles.
Cat Kid Comic Club: Perspectives is one of only two December releases on the chart; the other one is Volume 5 of Wings of Fire.
The Baby-Sitters Club books are still going strong, with three volumes of the regular series (one of which was originally adapted by Raina Telgemeier) and one of the spinoff Baby-Sitters Little Sister. Two of Telgemeier’s original graphic novels, Guts and Sisters, are in the top 20, and the lone non-Graphix book is Shannon Hale and LeUyen Pham’s Friends Forever, which has been on the chart for four months in a row (it was released on August 31).
