Rio Grande Games is planning summer releases for two elaborate German-created board games, where the focus is on building rather than conquering.  Out first, later this month, is Maharaja, a game for 2-5 players (aged 10 and over) in which the object is to become the first Prince to construct seven palaces for the Maharaja.  Created by Wolfgang Kramer and M. Kiesling, Maharaja has a suggested retail price of $44.95 and takes an estimated 90 minutes to play.

Slated for release a few weeks after Maharaja, Fifth Avenue is all about making the most out of precious urban real estate by constructing skyscrapers.  Created by Wilko Manz, Fifth Avenue is designed for 2-4 players (12 or older), takes an estimated 60 minutes to play, and has a suggested retail price of $37.95.
