DC will publish an Absolute edition of the original Swamp Thing comics by writer Len Wein and artist Bernie Wrightson, the team who created the character in 1971. The 8” x 12”, 336-page hardcover will include Swamp Thing #1-13, as well as Swamp Thing’s first appearance in a standalone story in House of Secrets #92. The book is slated to go on sale on November 8 with an MSRP of $100.

DC began publishing Absolute editions of writer Alan Moore’s run on the 1982 second series in 2019 (see “Alan Moore’s Swamp Thing Tales Collected”); the third and final volume of that series will be released in March 2022.
