The new boxed set features two new warbands that are drawn to the nexus of the Nethermaze. The Shadeborn have been sent by Morathi to cut out the heart of Queen Kia’tan. The Skittershank’s Clawpack are looking to the nexus as a new source of penumbral power for the Clans Eshin. This new set adds new rules in the form of two new keywords, Map and Domain. Nethermaze also comes with two boards, dice, tokens, and a 52-page rulebook.

Games Workshop also recently released Harrowdeep for Warhammer Underworlds (see "'Warhammer Underworlds: Harrowdeep'").
