Warner Home Video is planning to launch its second Looney Tunes Golden Collection in November.  The new Collection contains some 60 classic Warner Bros. cartoons including What's Opera Doc, One Froggy Evening -- the genesis of Michigan J. Frog, the surreal Porky in Wackyland, The Dover Boys, Zoom and Board, and The Great Piggy Bank Robbery.  The Second Golden Collection concentrates on Bugs Bunny, who appears in at least 19 of the 60 shorts, Sylvester and Tweety, who star in 11 including Tweety-Pie, their first collaboration, Road Runner and Coyote, who are featured in 10 classics, plus the Looney Tune stalwarts, Porky Pig and Daffy Duck.  AWOL from this collection are Speedy Gonzales, Pepe Le Pew, Marvin the Martian, and Foghorn Leghorn.

For fans of the classic cartoons created at Termite Terrace, these Golden Collections are must-have items, superbly packaged by Jerry Beck and other animation mavens who really know their onions.  The Golden Collection 2 should have a list price of around $65, a little more than a dollar per classic cartoon.
