In this game, players take control of either knights or demons vying for control over a sealed portal to the underworld in Thornmar Abbey. The demons seek to kill enough of the abbey's elders to crack the seal before the sun rises, and the knights are out to vanquish the demons. Each player chooses a unique knight or demon, each with special powers, and plays cards on their character to influence the tide of the battle. The goal of the game is for the demon team to break the seal to win, and the knights must withstand the demon onslaught till dawn to win.
The location tiles included in this game allow players to create a different monastery layout for every game, thus increasing replayability. This game can also be played as a campaign mode for one or two players. It is for one to six players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 45 to 60 minutes. Knight Fall will retail for $44.99.
