Legend Story Studios crowned its first Flesh and Blood TCG World Champion in San Jose, California last weekend with nearly 1,200 players from 28 countries competing for the $300,000 purse, the company announced.  In addition to the multi-format tournament, which was watched online by tens of thousands of live viewers, hundreds of players participated in side events, cosplay contests and other activities at the three-day event (see “’FaB TCG’ World Championships”). 

The winner of the World Championship, U.S. Champion Michael Hamilton (see “’FaB TCG’ U.S. Championship”), took home $100,000.  With the $300,000 awarded at the finale, the first legend Story Pro Play season awarded over $1,000,000 to winning players.

The next Flesh and Blood TCG set, Dynasty, was released this week (see “Flesh and Blood: Dynasty’”). The next Pro Quest season will kick off January 14, 2023.
