Capstone Games is doing a quick solicit for Aleph Null, a new solo game shipping in January.  Designed by Tony Boydell (Guilds of London, Snowdonia), Aleph Null is a follow-up to Boydell’s solo game Lux Aeterna (see “Capstone Games Will Release ‘Lux Aeterna’”), and is inspired by the Black Easter novellas by James Blish.

The goal of the thematic reverse deck-builder is to summon Prince Baphomet, the Sabbath Goat, and to avoid having cards in the player’s hand, the main deck, or the discard pile, and to avoid having too many cards in play when it happens.

The game includes 28 Main deck cards, 12 Interference cards, 9 Grimoire cards, 1 Baphomet card, 14 FAQ cards, 1 Aleph Null-inspired Lux Aeterna Promo card, 1 Lux Aeterna-inspired Interference card, 3 Magical power tokens, 3 Damage tokens, 1 wooden grimoire stand, and the rulebook.

Game time for the single player is 30 minutes.  MSRP is $29.95, and the release date is February 2, 2023.
