Jerry Wall of Atomic Comics in Oklahoma City saw the news on Jeff Mason's appeal for help for Alternative Comics (see 'Alternative Comics Appeals For Help') and gives Jeff Kudos for his approach:

I just wanted to throw out there how much of a supporter of Alternative Comics that Jeff Mason has made me this week.  This entire process, Jeff's been trying to help himself, without hurting the retail community at the same time, and to even help us a bit along the way.  Many publishers would have done an end around (and many have, in the past), and probably could have made money quicker, but not Alternative.

Jeff regularly uses the phrase 'Team Comics' and he is one of the few people who walk the walk.  I know the larger publishers could definitely learn a lot from Jeff and his understanding of the retailer/publisher relationship.  So I just want to give a large round of applause for Jeff, and to let him know that I will do everything I can to stock and sell as much of Alternative Comics' products as possible in my store in the coming weeks, months, and years.
