Scythe's sequel (see "'Scythe'") sends players off on an expedition to Siberia where a meteorite has crashed near the Tunguska River. The meteorite has awakened a long-dormant corruption, and the expedition, led by Dr. Tarkovsky, heads off into the taiga forests to discover its impact on the land. The heroes from the war are also privately fund their own expeditions to Siberia in hopes of finding artifacts and achieving glory.
The sequel is a card-driven, engine-building game where players utilize cards to gain power, guile, and add worker abilities. They will explore the land by moving their mechs to different locations to acquire cards found among the tiles; use workers, items, meteorites, and quests to enhance your mech; and ultimately vanquish the corruption that plagues the land.
The game box comes with 5 mech miniatures and mats, 20 location tiles, over 100 cards, 50 worker meeples, a bag of 36 corruption tiles, and more. It is for one to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60 to 90 minutes.
