The Deck of Many Things boxed supplement for Dungeons & Dragons was announced by Wizards of the Coast, with a release date of November 14.

The notorious Deck of Many Things has been a staple of Dungeons & Dragons since its earliest editions.  With The Deck of Many Things boxed set, this curious magic item gets a thorough treatment for 5E.

The box holds a fully illustrated 66-card version of the Deck itself, suitable for use in the game.  Along with the cards, The Book of Many Things is also included in the set.  This book explores the mysteries of the Deck, providing guidelines and adventure ideas for using the Deck, plus new monsters, character options, and ways to craft adventures inspired entirely by the Deck.  The book also functions as a guide for anyone who wishes to use the Deck of Many Things as a more traditional “oracle deck.”

Wizards of the Coast has also announced Dungeons & Dragons supplements for dragons (see “Wizards of the Coast Reveals ‘D&D:  The Practically Complete Guide to Dragons’”) and the Planescape setting and an adventure module set below Phandelver (see “Wizards Presents ‘Phandelver’, ‘Planescape’ Plans”).
