Atomic Toys will produce toys based on the Sims videogame for release in November. The toys will be a collaboration between Sims producer Electronic Arts, which will provide the art and concept for the line, and Atomic, which will produce them.
The first line of toys will be titled Miniopolis Urbz, based on The Urbz: Sims in the City, the new Sims game being released in November. The toy line will be released simultaneously with the new videogame, which is being released by EA for PS2, Xbox, GameCube, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS. The initial toy line will be based on characters and pets from the GBA game; toys based on the console game characters will be released before the holidays.
