Image Comics has restructured its sales department, including the addition of Margot Wood as a new Vice President.  Wood is the new VP of Book Market Sales, reporting to Image Publisher and CCO Eric Stephenson.  In that role, she’ll oversee Image’s book channel sales and the relationship with Simon & Schuster, its book market distributor.  Image Book Market & Library Sales Manager Chloe Ramos will report to Wood.

Ramos and Director of Direct Market Sales Alex Cox previously reported to VP of Sales and Publishing Matt Parkinson, who joined Image last year (see “Parkinson Moves to Image”).  Parksinson has left the company, and Cox will now also report directly to Eric Stephenson.

Wood has had sales and marketing stretches at HarperCollins and Oni Press, and most recently at TKO Studios (see “Margot Wood to TKO”).
