Floodgate Games will release Skyrockets: Festivals of Fire in a deluxe edition with custom sleeves and acrylic tokens. The game, designed by Charlie McCarron with art by Silly Jellie, is inspired by Kites: Time to Fly.

In Skyrockets, players play cards in turn, and flip the matching sand timers (their fireworks) without letting any run out. As play progresses, players advance along the Festival Countdown Track, and work together to amaze the crowds at each festival. The game includes 30 events, presenting unique challenges.

The box includes 60 Fireworks Cards, 30 Event Cards, 6 Sand Timers, Countdown Track, 3 Crowd tokens, Crowd Area Start Player Token, Festival Guide, Score Pad, Encore! Envelope, and Rulebook.

The game is for 2 to 5 players ages 10 and up, and plays in 10 minutes. MSRP is $29.95 [corrected from $39.95, apologies for the error, ed.], and release date is January 23.
