Wizards of the Coast has placed Vecna: Eve of Ruin, a new 5E adventure rulebook for Dungeons & Dragons, onto preorder with a scheduled release date of May 21, 2024.

Vecna: Eve of Ruin (see "Deets and Dates") is an adventure for characters that are level 10 to 20 where players assume the roles of heroes attempting to thwart the plans of the evil lich lord Vecna.  The infamous lich returns to D&D in an epic adventure where he is literally trying obliterate existence.  The heroes in this adventure must work with three of the multiverse’s most famous archmages to try to rebuild the Rod of Seven Parts to stop Vecna and save the day.

Players will travel through several well-known D&D fantasy locales throughout this campaign.  They will make stops in the galaxies of Spelljammer, vistas of Ravenloft, Planscape, Dragonlance, and more.  Along the way, they will battle up to 30 new monsters that are detailed in this book.
