White Wolf Publishing is planning a late December release for Pimp: The Backhanding, a non-collectible card game, which will include a deck of 100 cards and a rules sheet and carry a suggested retail price of $14.99.  Designed for two to four mature players, the game has already made the con circuit over the past year.

This sort of make-believe street hustling game is not without controversy -- Ghettopoly, a street-hustling board game released last year, was met with withering criticism from social commentators as well as a lawsuit from Hasbro (because the game was obviously a version of Monopoly -- see 'Hasbro Sues Ghettopoly Maker').  Infringement will be no problem for White Wolf's game, which is original in concept and format, and whose title only mocks White Wolf's own flair for the dramatic (i.e. Hunter: The Reckoning).
