Games Workshop has revealed the first miniature for its new edition of Age of Sigmar (see “’Age of Sigmar’ New Edition”), Stormcast Eternals Liberator. Liberators, who fight with shields and warhammers, are the backbone of the Stormhosts.

This new Liberator is clad in the thunderstrike armor introduced on Vindicators in the Dominion box in 2021 (see “Review: Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Dominion”) and wears the colors of the Hallowed Knights.  The armor was created by smith-god Grungni, and more of Sigmar’s warriors are Reforged with it as fighting intensifies. 

The new edition of Age of Sigmar will launch this summer.
