An ICv2 Release.  ICv2 has opened its ICv2 Direct online platform for game sales direct from publishers to stores, the company announced.  On ICv2 Direct, stores can now order from multiple publishers with a single account on an easy-to-use platform.  ICv2 processes the order, sends the orders (and payment) to publishers, and publishers ship retailer orders directly to stores out of their inventory.  The service is offering products for game stores in this initial phase, with products for comic stores to follow in the coming months.

"We have products from every hobby game category on the site, so it’s time to begin making the service available to stores," ICv2 CEO Milton Griepp said of the opening of the new platform.  "We expect to continue building our selection and services in the coming weeks and months and look forward to serving the industry in this new way.  We want to thank the publishers that are with us at launch and the retailers that are open to trying a new way of doing business."
