Mongoose will ship the first four SKUs in its Starship Troopers miniatures wargame line in December (see 'Mongoose Gets Starship Troopers License').  The anchor product is the boxed game, Starship Troopers:  The Wargame, which will contain a 200-page rulebook, measuring sticks, dice, 24 arachnid warrior miniatures, and 16 mobile infantry miniatures in an 8-1/4' x 10-5/8' box at a $74.95 MSRP. 

The lead designer on the Starship Troopers game design team is Andy Chambers, formerly of Games Workshop, where he was a senior designer on Warhammer 40K and Battlefleet Gothic. 

Three Starship Troopers boxed sets of plastic miniatures will also ship in December.  Mobile Infantry Squad will contain eight mobile infantry characters.  Mobile Infantry Support will contain the heavier weapons that accompany the armored mobile infantry soldiers.  Arachnid Warrior Bugs will contain 12 bad guys.  All of the miniatures are designed by sculptor Bob Naismith.
