Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere RPG, by Brotherwise Games, passed $11 million for their crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.

This RPG crowdfunding project follows up the announcement of Brotherwise's Mistborn: The Deckbuilding Game for retail, another Brandon Sanderson-licensed game, which happened in July 2024 (see "'Mistborn: The Deckbuilding Game' for Retail ").  Cosmere RPG dives headlong into the entire universe of Brandon Sanderson's best-selling novels, offering players a living RPG system to use as they assume the roles of heroes across the different worlds.  The RPG is setup so each world book that follows this release operates on these universal rules, but has its own unique character options and magic system.

The actual Cosmere RPG book will hit in fall 2025 with the Stormlight World Guide, Stormlight Handbook, and Stormlight Stonewalkers Adventure.  In 2026, Brotherwise plans to release Mistborn books in 2026, and has more world books and adventures in the pipeline beyond that. As of the publication of this article, the Kickstarter sits at $11,189,930 from 38,990 backers (about $287 per backer) and offers up a $400 Retailer Pledge rewards tier.  The tier includes four copies of the main book, GM Screen, Standard Dice Set, Plot Deck, and Item Deck as well as two Event Kits.
