In Civolution, designed by Stefan Feld, players take control of a civilization simulation located on an isolated continent. They must develop their civilization by exploring the map, searching for resources and food, building structures, and evolving their tribes over multiple eras. The simulation features an ever-evolving technology matrix that utilizes a dice-selection mechanism. To advance their civilization down one of the multiple routes to victory, players will also carefully have their civilizations develop disciplines represented by 160 different research cards. This is a heavy Eurogame with dozens of strategies to explore.
This game is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 90-180 minutes. It will retail for $109.95.
Pegasus Spiele also unveiled Dorfromantik: Sakura, a new standalone board game (see "'Dorfromantik: Sakura'").
