Rhino Home Video has confirmed that the Transformers Armada Season 1 Box Set will hit store shelves on November 9.  The four-DVD set will include episodes from the popular Transformers Armada series, which was originally broadcast in 2002.  Transformers insider Tim Finn indicated back in June that Rhino might be offering Transformers Armada Season 1, Part 1 in November (see 'Insider Provides Transformers DVD News'), but weeks later Rhino announced that the series was unlikely to make its November debut.  Now Rhino has reversed itself and returned to the November 9 date, though details about the Box Set have still not been released.

The Transformers remains an extremely popular multi-media property with a highly successful comic book series from Dreamwave Productions, an elaborate line of toys from Hasbro as well as collectible statues and toys from Palisades and videos from Rhino and Paramount.  The latest Transformers series, Transformers Energon, recently began its new season on the Cartoon Network. In October the series will move to the highly desirable late afternoon Miguzi Block. Waiting in the wings is the next Transformers series, Transformers Cybertron.
