The Harvey Awards Hall of Fame has announced the five 2024 inductees, who will be honored at the awards ceremony at New York Comic Con this week.  The five inductees are:
 

  • Arthur Adams, the artist and writer who’s best known for his work at Marvel, including Uncanny X-Men, Excalibur, and X-Factor.
  • Sergio Aragones, longtime contributor to Mad, and creator of Groo the Wanderer
  • John Busceme, the late artist whose extensive work for Marvel helped shape the look of the line from the 60s through the 80s.
  • Larry Hama, the writer and artist who helped build the G.I. Joe universe.
  • Akira Toriyama, the late manga-ka who created the Dragon Ball, Sand Land, and Dr. Slump manga.

The winners of this year's Harvey Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony this Friday, October 18, at New York Comic Con (see "’Nominations for Harvey Awards").
